Nora Aly is an independent designer based in Cairo, Egypt. She works as an adjunct Professor at the American University in Egypt (AUC). She is mainly interested in Arabic typography which acts as a core element that she integrates in other creative endeavors such as visual communication, branding, type design and graphic design.
Nada Hesham is the founder and CCO of Cairo based independent graphic design studio; 40MUSTAQEL, and the founder and publisher of ISDAR MUSTAQEL; a bilingual non-periodic publication about serious, critical, playful, and spontaneous design practices around the region.
Mina Maurice is a Cairo-based graphic designer and creative director at 40MUSTAQEL. His work explores language and script as ever evolving cultural and political artifacts, with a profound interest in the complex and reciprocal nature of multilingual/multi-scriptural design and Arabic typography.
Jana Traboulsi is a visual artist, graphic designer and academic.
She is the co-founder and creative director of pan-arab quarterly Bidayat and the artistic director of Snoubar Bayrout publishing house. In 2014, she co-founded Sigil, an art collective based in Beirut and New York.
