Saturday, July 26 · 3:30 PM – 5 PM

Led by Serge, co-founder of Buzurna Juzurna (BuJu), this one-day workshop introduces foundational planting techniques for beginners.

Participants will learn how to grow clean, healthy, and environmentally safe food using heirloom seeds, compost, and natural methods. The session will cover soil preparation, sowing, transplanting, and caring for young plants. Each participant will take home a selection of seedlings and seeds to continue planting at home, along with the knowledge to nurture them responsibly.

Buzurna Juzuruna (BuJu) is an association dedicated to developing sustainable agriculture in Lebanon. It operates a farm school, produces heirloom seeds, and provides compost and bio-pesticides and everything needed to grow food that is clean, healthy, environmentally responsible, and socially just.

Serge is the co-founder of BuJu, as well as a farmer, food sovereignty advocate, and ecology activist.

All tools and materials will be provided.
